Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ welcomes Eric Bishop, Ed.D., as its next president beginning July 1, 2026, following approval by the Riverside Community College District Board of Trustees that took place on June 9. Bishop has served as Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­â€™s interim president since August 2025 and has already become a visible leader on campus, focused on student success, equity, belonging, and raising the standard of care for students, faculty, classified professionals, and the broader Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ community.

Bishop brings extensive experience in higher education leadership, student services, enrollment management, athletics, legislative engagement, and community partnerships. His appointment follows a nationwide search that included input from faculty, classified professionals, management, students, and community members.
